Hey! You might have seen our social pages showcasing this part we felt we needed for our build. This part was initially designed for brakes. Motorcycle racing for example need to do quick wheel changes. The brakes are attached to the wheels. They simply disconnect everything and reconnect to a system that was pre-bled.

We decided to add this part in the clutch system. In drag racing we often have to do quick transmission changes. This part saves time from having to unbolt the slave. In a case when you’re using a hydro bearing the clutch will be tethered to the transmission. There isn’t a way to disconnect it without having to rebleed the system. This solves that problem.

The quick disconnect is a part all to itself and can be adapted to a clutch line you could already have or want to have made. The disconnect has -3 male ends meaning you need a clutch line that has a female -3 and or some kind of adapter and or coupler to make the connection at the slave of your choice.

The disconnect can be added anywhere in between your master and slave. It does NOT need to be added directly to the slave like shown on our car. We added it here so you can get the whole picture and see how it functions. It’s form (where it can be mounted) is entirely up to you when building a custom clutch line.

Our clutch lines come with a female -3 end and a slave adapter already. This makes it super easy to make additional connections when needed. Wilwood dry break quick connect/disconnect -3 AN fittings make changing brake components faster with no need to bleed the system. A quick quarter-turn disconnects it, without tools, but they connect as secure as a threaded flexline fitting. The internal spring-loaded seal prevents air from entering or fluid from escaping.
