FT230 Battery Box + Battery Kit

Originally developed around the EF K swap, but it did not stop there.

This FT230 setup has become a go-to solution for multiple chassis including EF, DA Integra, CB, CD, Prelude, EK, and DC. Basically, anything that needs the battery moved for a cleaner K swap layout.

Mounted just inside the bumper and fender well, it keeps cable runs shorter and simplifies the whole setup. Less clutter, better routing, and easier access.

Why this setup works

The FT230 battery box uses a compact design that mounts between the frame rail and bumper support. A bracket bolts through the frame/body using the supplied rivnuts, and the dual flip-tab design allows the box to be mounted on either the driver or passenger side.

That flexibility makes it useful across multiple chassis and engine bay layouts without turning the install into unnecessary custom work.

FT230 vs Odyssey PC680

We have tested the Full Throttle FT230 since 2018 with great success in power, charge life, and price.

The FT230 is a direct replacement in size and function for the Odyssey PC680, but in our experience it has been the better value. The FT230 with box comes in around 22 pounds, still outperforms the PC680, and does it at a better price point.
