The Hush Performance Rear Staging Brake Kit is a fully comprehensive rear-only hydraulic system designed specifically for drag race applications requiring precise staging control and brake system separation.

This is not a universal “generic handbrake” setup. This is a purpose-built system engineered to integrate cleanly and remain adaptable as your chassis evolves.

This kit is complete from the master cylinder to the factory rear wheel well bulkhead fitting.

Note: A separate staging brake handle mount is required and is not included. At this time, Hush Performance does not offer a dedicated mounting bracket. Customers must source or fabricate a mounting solution appropriate for their chassis.

Why We End at the Bulkhead

We intentionally terminate the system at the factory rear wheel well bulkhead fitting to make the kit chassis-universal and future-proof.

Rear caliper configurations change frequently in drag racing. Different calipers require different hose ends, fitting styles, and routing angles. If the line ran all the way from the staging brake to the caliper, every caliper change would require replacing the entire system.

By ending at the bulkhead:

• The core staging system remains permanently installed.
• When changing rear calipers, you only replace the short line from bulkhead to caliper.
• No need to disturb the master cylinder, interior routing, or primary hydraulic line.
• Faster upgrades. Cleaner maintenance. Less cost long term.

This kit is intended for vehicles running independent front and rear brake circuits. Rear staging control allows:
