This Scratch & Dent offering includes our Steel Hood gas springs.
These are our most versatile gas springs and can be used with both steel hoods and many fiberglass or carbon-fiber hoods.
Because lightweight composite hoods vary significantly between manufacturers, additional adjustment of hood opening travel may be required. It is the customer’s responsibility to properly adjust hood travel for their specific application.
