Our hinges won’t fold your steel or carbon fiber hood like other styles will.
Our gas spring is integrated right into the billet constructed hinge that upgrades the entire look.
It’s the perfect place between form and function.
THE DA IS BACK - NOW AS DAHH2
We could have simply put our previous DA Integra hood hinges back into production. Instead, we used what we learned while developing the rest of our hood hinge lineup and applied it to the DA.
DAHH2 incorporates our newer approach to integrated height control, improved bearing control, and refined hinge geometry.
When building our own vehicles, we wanted the ability to support the hood equally from both sides and help prevent a custom hood from folding or flexing around a single support point. A specified gas spring is integrated directly into each 6061 billet aluminum hinge, eliminating the factory prop rod while keeping the support system within the hinge assembly.

Do not attempt to fit these on any other chassis or body.

Chassis Nuances (READ BEFORE BUYING)
- The hinges bolt on, but the closest fender bolt on both right and left sides must be removed and replaced with the supplied low-profile hardware.
- The OEM hinge area is seam sealed and painted over from the factory. Removing the OEM hinge can crack and/or peel paint around the seam seal. You may want to pre-cut the seam sealer to reduce peeling.
- These hinges open higher than OEM. Hood spacers may increase the risk of hood-to-windshield contact. Use adjustable height control system for aid.
- Best installed with two people.
- DAHH2 includes the integrated adjustable height control used in our newer hinge designs.

Warranty requires returning the gas spring

Weekends and holidays are not included when calculating business days. Production time is separate from carrier shipping time.
Once production is complete and your order is ready for shipment, tracking will be provided. Carrier transit time begins after the completed order leaves Hush Performance.
