D Series Transmission Mount Bracket (L3 Cable Trans)
The factory stamped steel transmission bracket found on front-wheel drive cable D Series transmissions (L3) is a known failure point. Over time, the bracket can crack or break completely — in some cases allowing the transmission to drop, damaging the rear mount and passenger axle.
OEM replacements are discontinued, and used parts are becoming increasingly difficult to source.
Instead of copying the OEM design and carrying over the same weak points, this bracket reinforces the failure area to improve strength and reliability.
Due to the OEM mount design, this bracket is optimized for use with aftermarket mount systems.
